Mechanical Warranties
iMPAC AUTO Elite Mechanical Warranties are offered in Titanium, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Vehicles are categorised according to the vehicle’s year and model or the distance travelled at the time of purchase of
the warranty.
iMPAC AUTO Elite Tyre and Rim Warranties are offered in Gold, Platinum and Executive.
Tyre & Rim Warranties
| GOLD & PLATINUM | Vehicles covered under this policy must be commercial vehicles with a gross mass of less than 3 500 kg. Motorcycles of any engine capacity are covered. All vehicles need to be roadworthy at all times. |
| EXECUTIVE | Vehicles covered under this policy must be passenger vehicles, 4x4s, SUVs and light commercial vehicles with a gross mass of less than 3 500 kg and a retail value of more than R350 000. All vehicles need to be roadworthy at all times. |
| TITANIUM |

| PLATINUM | Vehicles younger than 10 years and fewer than 180 000 km travelled. |
| GOLD | Vehicles younger than 10 years and fewer than 200 000 km travelled. |
| SILVER | Any vehicles with fewer than 200 000 km travelled. |
| BRONZE | Any other vehicles. |
Gap Warranty
iMPAC AUTO Elite GAP Warranty is a policy that provides financial assistance in the event that the limits of liability of the principle policy do not cover the full cost of the repair. It is applicable to passenger vehicles, including 4x4s and light commercial vehicles with a maximum gross vehicle mass (GVM) of 3 500 kg, leisure vehicles and motorcycles.
The benefit of this policy will only be paid once the underlying policy has authorised the repairs. The policy is administered by iMPAC Underwriting Managers (PTY) Ltd (the Administrator).
Eligible Vehicles
Vehicles that are under warranty with a recognised warranty provider or the manufacturer`s warranty hereinafter referred to as the “Principal Policy”. Only locally manufactured vehicles and vehicles imported by the local Manufacturer with at least a 12-month warranty will be eligible for cover. All vehicles need to be roadworthy at all times.
Leisure Warranties
iMPAC AUTO Elite Leisure Warranties offers cover to inboard and outboard motors, wet bikes, jet skis and caravans.
Inboard and outboard motors, wet bikes, jet skis
AUTO Elite Plan M – Insured items younger than six months and fewer than 75 hours travelled.
AUTO Elite Plan A – Insured items younger than five years (60 months from the first date of registration) and fewer than 300 hours travelled.
AUTO Elite Plan B – All other items that do not fall into the above two categories.
Caravans
Caravans that are younger than 10 years old.
Caravans that are between 10 and 20 years old.
Motorcycle Warranties
Eligible Motorcycles
Only motorcycles younger than 10 years, which have covered fewer than 100 000km at the time of sale. The policy is applicable to motorcycles, off-road bikes and quads. We do not accept risk on hire motorcycles, rebuilt motorcycles (CODE 3), and modified motorcycles (including turbo conversions) and motorcycles that are, or have been, used in any form of motoring competition. For the purpose of this policy, motorcycles are grouped into plan types depending on the age and kilometers at the time of sale.
Motorcycle Categories
Motorcycles are categorised according to the year, model or the distance travelled at the time of purchase of the warranty.
- AUTO Elite Plan M – Motorcycles not previously
registered. - AUTO Elite Plan A – Motorcycles younger than 1 year and
fewer than 15 000 km travelled. - AUTO Elite Plan B – Motorcycles younger than 5 years
(60 months from the first date of registration) and fewer
than 60 000 km travelled. - AUTO Elite Plan C – Motorcycles other than the above,
younger than 10 years (120 months from the first date of
registration) and fewer than 100 000 km travelled.

1.1 Motorcycles Covered
Motorcycles of any engine capacity are covered. All motorcycles need to be roadworthy at all times.
